EIM Month: Sports for All - Grappling
Grappling is a huge part of mixed martial arts and is the umbrella term for combat sports which focus on takedowns and ground-fighting with the ultimate goal to subdue the opponent by submission holds, like leg locks, arms locks, chokes and everything in between. By working from the ground, Grappling forces you to learn new movement patterns which increases the body awareness and in turn improves mobility and strength.
