Sharing Session: Next-generation sequencing at CGS

Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) has brought a revolution to genetic research. Our Centre has been providing NGS services for more than six years since 2012, handled over thousands of specimens. In this session, we take the opportunity to introduce to you the basic principle and workflow of NGS, followed by a brief overview of the different sequencing platforms available at CGS, including the newly acquired Illumina NovaSeq 6000.
