If the outbreak continues, will surgical masks be enough? Will I have to use N95 masks and goggles? (Chinese version with English subtitles)

N95 masks and goggles should be reserved for healthcare workers. Laypeople may not know how to wear an N95 mask properly as you have to do a fit test to make sure the mask fits your facial features. You may also have difficulty breathing and feel very tired after wearing an N95 mask for a couple of hours. Generally speaking, ordinary surgical masks and glasses are sufficient for protection.
