HKU reveals effectiveness of music intervention among elderly with Dementia

Despite a great number of music and art-related intervention courses now available, the programme has been the first of its kind tailor-made for elderly with dementia in Hong Kong. Dr. Rainbow Ho, CBH Director and Associate Professor of the HKU Department of Social Work and Social Administration, said elderly (aged 65 to 80) in TWGHs residential homes were surveyed when designing the activities.
