HKU feasibility study on Sustainable Drainage Systems in Hong Kong

Sustainable stormwater drainage systems (SuDS) having many other potential benefits such as greening, increasing freshwater supply and mitigating heat island effect may reduce the environmental impact. Dr. Chui Ting Fong May from the Department of Civil Engineering has been collaborating with researchers from the U.S. and Singapore for research in this area to examine the feasibility and implementation of SuDS in HK.
