An Illustrated talk on the life of "The Great Book of Ireland"

"The Great Book of Ireland", a modern Irish manuscript acquired by UCC was produced by Poetry Ireland in 1989 containing over a hundred poems by Irish poets in their own hand, alongside as many original paintings by prominent Irish artists, each expressing their hopes, joys, loves, fears etc in being an Irish man or woman at the turn of the millennium. It is a time capsule, a unique example of Irish identities as expressed through poetry and art.
