Behind the Scenes at The Lancet

Through novel insights and applications of regenerative medicine, the Dr Li Dak-Sum Research Centre aims to push back the frontiers of medical science, and in doing so, to build synergistic international collaborations that advance health. Peer-reviewed publication will be an integral metric of the centre's success. In the competitive world of publication, it can be as valuable for researchers to understand journals, as it is for editors to understand research. This presentation will explain how priorities are set and manuscripts selected at The Lancet family of journals. Moreover, it will show how editors translate our commitment to "the best science for better lives" into action in publishing, science, and society.
