Conference on Contextualizing Asian Eco-cinema: Past and Future (27-28 May 2016; Rm 4.36, Run Run Shaw Tower, Centennial Campus, HKU)

[Co-organized by Department of Comparative Literature, School of Humanities and the Centre for the Study of Globalization and Cultures (CSGC),HKU] With growing awareness of global environmental issues and increasing interests in the study of Asian films in relation to eco-critical theories, this conference seeks to assemble international scholars and expand the field of ecology and film towards a broader coverage in its Asian context.
